The Sonic Ranch Experience 2026

It’s happening March 6–8, 2026, and just like before, it’s going to be something you’ll never forget.

But let’s get this straight—this isn’t your typical workshop. This is something deeper. 

I call it a Sonic Retreat 🌵—three slow days on a beautiful ranch, filled with learning, recording, shared meals, music-making, and reconnecting with the part of you that got into this whole thing in the first place.

I’m Thomas Juth, a grammy awarded mix engineer and producer—and I’ll be guiding the retreat.

I’ve worked in studios all over the world, but there’s something different about Sonic Ranch. That’s why I created this retreat: to step away from the noise, slow down, and reconnect with what music is really about. 

What’s Included

🎧 The Plan 

Day 1 – The Sonic Playground
The first day will be all about sonic exploration. We’ll test and compare mics and techniques, explore the gear, A/B compressors, and treat the studio like a creative lab.

Day 2 – Recording the Song
We’ll spend the day recording one song, in a relaxed and unhurried way. There’s plenty of time to ask questions, hang out in the control room, or join in with ideas if you feel like it. 

Day 3 – Wrapping the Story
We’ll finish the recording and move into a mixing session—a chance to listen back, talk through ideas, and reflect together. Transportation back to the airport will be at 17:00, unless you decide to stay an additional night.
