Serving the Song Through Mixing, Recording and Producing
Thomas Juth is an award-winning mix engineer, producer, and recording engineer with more than two decades of experience at the highest level of the music industry.
Though best known for his mixing, Thomas approaches his work in more holistic terms: as an audio sculptor devoted to serving the song itself. He views audio engineering and music production as interconnected art forms, each working in harmony to bring music to life.
For Thomas, music has always been the center. Sometimes that means sitting behind the console as a recording engineer, shaping sounds at the source. Sometimes it’s producing, guiding an artist’s vision into its fullest form. And often, it’s mixing — enhancing what’s been captured and drawing out the soul of the performance. To him, these roles are not separate, but different expressions of the same pursuit: reaching the heart of the song.
He describes himself as an engineer of subtlety — moving with intention and care, never relying on tools or tricks first, but listening deeply to what the music truly needs. His philosophy is rooted in trust, long-term relationships with artists, and giving each song the time and attention it deserves.

Over the years, Thomas has worked with artists around the globe, including Cat Stevens, Jason Mraz, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Eric Gadd, Jesse & Joy, Manuel Medrano, and Zaz. More recently, he has been collaborating with Nashville’s Kent Parker, Swedish artist Loneheir, and Mexico City’s Marco Paul.
Even as technology evolves, Thomas remains close to his roots: organic, analog-driven music that breathes with life and soul. Whether mentoring the next generation of engineers or shaping records in the studio, his guiding principle stays the same: focus on the subtleties and move with intention.
At the same time, he continues to work across modern pop and contemporary productions. He embraces new sounds and approaches, but his true strength shines when there’s a touch of human soul in the music — that’s where his work comes fully alive.
